Don't know if it's any help, Scott, but my husband is descended from John Kendall, born 1814 (if I remember correctly !!) in Droitwich, Worcestershire. He was transported to Australia when he was 21 & by the 1860s, the spelling of Kendall had changed to Kendell (in Australia, that is.) My husband's father was the great great grandson of John & he came to the UK in 1954. He married, had 4 children, divorced, remarried & died in 2000.
