I am searching for the birthplace of Nathaniel Wells, the ancestor of a good friend and resident of Kent. Nathaniel was a Sergeant Major serving in West Bengal when he died in 1833 leaving a wife Elizabeth and several young children. We have found no other records of him in India and know nothing more about him. Where should one search at this point?   Regards, John B.
