I hope someone is able to help me.     I am trying to find out more about Sarah Lissney who was born in Chislehurst c 1772 (she was 89 in 1861 and 90 when she died in 1862).   I have not found her on the 1851, but she was aged 55 in 1841 but that census is notorious for being inaccurate with ages.   Sarah married Thomas Gowar in 1818 at St Dunstan in the East.   Her will was probated in 1862 by oath of Catherine Lissney daughter.      Again, we do not have Catherine's birth, but according to the censuses it was also at Chislehurst (again according to the censuses) and probably c1810 give or take a few years.   In 1841 her age was 30, 1851 - 42, in 1861 she was 48 and in 1871 she was 64, so there is quite a bit of disparity there.   Regards   Eveline
