Subject: MONGER family I am seeking information about Jane MONGER born Jane BARRETT 1824 in Wiltshire. She married Robert S MONGER and lived in Kent. 1861 census Folkestone Kent - shows that Jane and Robert S MONGER were living with six children. They are Mary J MONGER, aged 16yrs; Laura MONGER, aged 12yrs; Alonzo MONGER, aged 10yrs, Julia MONGER, aged 8yrs; Amy MONGER, aged 6yrs; and Robert MONGER, aged 4yrs. 1871 census Folkestone, Kent - shows that Jane is widowed and has four children living with her. They are Mary J MONGER, born 1847 in Dorset; Julia MONGER, born 1853 in Kent; Amy MONGER, born 1855 in Kent; and Robert MONGER, born 1857 in Kent. There was also a visitor Augusta BARRETT (sister of Jane) born 1835 in Dorset. 1891 census Sandgate, Kent -shows Jane MONGER, aged 70yrs, occupation retired lodging housekeeper and daughter Mary J MONGER, aged 39yrs, occupation ladies' maid. My problem is that I have been unable to locate the following MONGERS that is: Jane, Mary J, Laura or Alonzo in the 1881 census. I have located Julia, Amy and a Robert A MONGER but no sign of the others. Have tried Family Search, Ancestry sites but no luck. I did try a number of counties also.
