    3. Just started looking into my wife's paternal great-grandfather;s family and would like to know of anyone has information relating to a Harriett Chantler born 1811 in Maidstone. I believe her parents were Edward and Anne but cannot find a direct link to Chantler, only Chandler. I know this could be a mis-interpretation but the Edward Chandler & Ann I have found were married in Hawkhurst. Does anyone have any info on any Chantlers in Maidstone prior to 1810 Many thanks in advance for any help Best Wishes, Bruce

    3. Hi Bruce, My husband's direct line is Chantler mostly from Hawkhurst but some from Maidstone. Will check out Harriet and get back to you. Chantler/Chandler seemed to be interchangeable especially in census records. Cheers Dallas in Australia On 02/04/2012, at 9:54 PM, "Bruce E.
