    3. Hello Chris, Searching newspapers is well worth doing. I have a copy of a Coroner's Report given in 1802 plus a copy of a local newpaper report of the proceedings, which took place in Canterbury.. You will probably have to be a bit lucky to lay hands on originals, but much less so with press reports.
