Hi Listers Would SKS have access to Kent newspapers for around July or August 1834 to find any reference to my 3 x great grandfather, JOSEPH LONGDON, who died by drowning as per the following information Name: Joseph Longdon – ‘found drowned, Coroners report’ Record Type: Burial Estimated Death Date: abt 1834 Burial Date: 12 Aug 1834 Age: 35 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1799 Parish or Poor Law Union: Woolwich St Mary Magdalene Borough: Greenwich Register Type: Parish Register Alternatively can I source this information myself online please as I live in Wiltshire and cannot readily visit Kent records/resources ? Any advice gratefully received. Regards Chris Longdon

Chris Speak to your local library. If you have a library card, you can access the Gale Library from home - this is the British Library Newspaper archive. It's free to search this way. Obviously, not everything is included, you may still need to access local newspapers too, but it's worth an ask. I've found it useful to learn more about the history of the area as well as genealogy.
