    3. The Countess of Huntingdons Connexion was one of the branches of early Methodism. As this guide from the National Archives indicates, after 1837, most non-conformist registers were lodged with the County Records Offices. http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/research-guides/nonconformists.htm However, and article by Matthew Copus http://www.mcopus.co.uk/huntingdon.asp indicates that there are no records surviving from this chapel after 1837 http://www.mcopus.co.uk/huntingdon.asp You could enquire at the Methodist Archives, details here http://religiousarchivesgroup.org.uk/welcome/advice/directory/christianity/methodist/ particularly the John Rylands Library at Manchester University. The surviving churches of the Connexion has a website http://www.cofhconnexion.org.uk/ but as Matthew Copus says, they have no resources to deal with family history enquiries. Sorry not to be more hopeful.
