    2. Regarding the microfilmed Kent records that are available through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Anyone can access those records, you do not have to be a member of the church.  Go to https://familysearch.org/  and then select "search".  From there you can search by name or move further down the page and see what specific records are digitized and browse by location.  Some are indexed others are just the raw images.   You will see that many of the records are not indexed yet, and anyone can sign up to help with this.  Select "volunteer" at the very top of the page.  Many people choose to index areas where their ancestors lived in order to speed up the process of indexing the millions of records microfilmed by the church for genealogy and family history research.    Many records are not yet digitized.  Some are only available on microfilm that can be ordered from Salt Lake City and read at a Family History Center.  There is no charge for visiting the center, but there is a fee for ordering the film.  It should be noted that there are books available at the main library in Salt Lake City that are not microfilmed yet and can only be accessed by a visit there.   To find Family History Center nearest you go to https://familysearch.org/locations/centerlocator     There are 4,600 centers in 126 countries.  All are available for anyone to use free of charge.   You can also donate records to the Family History Library in Salt Lake to have added to the collection.  This can be anything, including cemetery headstone inscriptions or a history of your family.  The fastest way to do this, is to digitize your records using a scanner, etc, and then send that information on CD to the main library in Salt Lake.  They will notify you when the records are online.  This is also a good place to archive information for others to view.  I can provide further information on this should anyone be interested.   Hope this helps, Reenee
