Mary's parents are Thomas TOWN and Elizabeth JEFFREY married 4 May 1783 Parish Church Yalding, they had 9 children. Mary died 13 November 1829 Yalding . Daniel is my 3 x g grandfather he married again to Alice Vinter RUFFIN 1 October 1832 St. Mary the Virgin Church, Dover. Thomas TOWN'S parents are Philip TOWN married to Elizabeth HATCH 4 November 1753 Hunton, Kent Notes sent to me. My Towns' start with a Daniel Sr., b. 1680, Yalding(?), d. 1766, E. Malling. Married Elizabeth Pullin, b. 1695, Yalding, married 15 October 1715, Yalding. Children were (all born Yalding), John 1715 Elizabeth 1718 Daniel, Jr. 1720, d. 1796, E. Malling. M= Ann Nokes Yalding (1749). They had a daughter Elizabeth b. 1750, E. Malling, married John Hunt of W. Malling, Yeoman. Hi Barbara I have slight connection with these Yalding TOWNs - Samuel Jeffrey/Jeffery TOWN, son of Thomas & Elizabeth and bapt 1791 in Yalding, married Elizabeth PIERSON in Yalding in 1813. This Elizabeth PIERSON was half sister of my ancestor Elizabeth Pierson OBEY who was baptised 1790 in Yalding. I have more information on the PIERSONs and OBEYs but very little on the TOWNs.
