Hi List, I'm interested in finding out about Mr Thomas Rowland clerk in Old Romney around about 1824. He was involved in a court case with an ancestor (Mary Drury) I'd like to know what happened to him. Any ideas appreciated. Neil.

Hi Neil If you go to this website www.theclergydatabase.org.uk and search for Thomas Rowland you will find some details of him. It says he was appointed Curate of Brooklands & Old Romney in 1814 and curate of Ivychurch in 1817. I can't see him in 1841 and unfortunately I only have deaths up to 1813 on the KFHS CD.
