Hi Listers, I've had the pleasure of viewing the Kent workhouse records at the LDS long term temporary library at Kew Records office and access does need an authorised password. Well worth a visit, they hold mainly UK and Ireland films, fill out a small slip and wait 20 minutes and it's free for films held on site. Off site films are £7.50 to order and wait ...... I do have Salt Lake research contact if anyone is interested, I can tell you who it is for free but the service they offer isn't but significantly quicker than ordering and waiting for a film. LDS does offer a free copying option if you can't get to a centre which I did try without success.
