Remembering my Great Uncle Private Warren Ernest Tilbe, who came to the US, joining his brother Albert in Holyoke, Massachusetts, but returned when the war broke out and joined the army. He was wounded in 1917 but returned to the fighting. He was killed in action 6 August 1918 in France.
