Hi, I am newly resubscribed and am planning my first genealogy trip to England to try to break down some brick walls and I would love some help or suggestions for research. My first brick wall pertains to an Elizabeth MOUNT who married Joseph JUBB May 27, 1828 in St Mary Magdalene in Canterbury. Later census information indicates a birth around 1805 in Canterbury but I have been unable to find her birth. I did locate a christening of an Elizabeth MOUNT to Ann MOUNT in one of the Canterbury parishes in the early 1820's as an adult. What should I infer from this record and do you see it as a dead end or where should I search. My second brickwall pertains to a Mary BUSHELL, who married a different Joseph JUBB August 2, 1802 in St Paul's, Canterbury. Later census returns indicate a birth in Ash, Kent in 1785. I have found a birth record for a Mary BUSHELL in Ash in 1785, but I have had it indicated to me that the Mary BUSHELL I found is a different lady. I am at a loss at how to find a second Mary BUSHELL or to prove my find. Any suggestions for my research. My third brickwall is with a William JUBB born in about 1745 somewhere in Kent, I think. My fourth brickwall is with William BODLE born in Canterbury? in about 1731-33. The problem is there are a couple of William BODLEs born in about that time period and I do not know how to prove which is mine. Can anyone help me with these brickwalls or point me to where I should go and what I should do in researching these families? Where should I stay - looking at hostels and how long should I expect my research to take? Thank you in advance. Larry Martin
