All other of the children shown on the 1871 census were registered either at Uckfield district or Tunbridge district, in which Pembury was situated. Check the registration index on FreeBMD images - 1860B2-V-1227. In case others are looking, the marriage of William VALLENTINE [sic] and Martha WEEKES was registered during September quarter of 1848 in Ticehurst district, vol. 7. p. 675.
