Hello, am trying to find a connection between Elizabeth Nye (b.1789) married to Thomas Delves. Her parents were James Nye and Elizabeth Fenner. This is from my husband's line. Elizabeth Nye Fenner Dyer (b.1803) married to Henry Smither. This is from my line. Both from Tonbridge/Tunbridge Wells. Any help would be wonderful as I feel that there has to be a connection somewhere with the use of both Nye and Fenner in both our lines. I have done quite a bit of research on this and to no avail. Don't know if this person is linked to your family but I have an Ellen Elizabeth NYE (born 1896 Tonbridge) married to my 2nd cousin twice removed, Frederick Fenner b 1895 Southborough. I don't know who Ellen's parents were but Frederick FENNER was the son of Henry Phillip FENNER b1855 Underriver & Mary CARPENTER b 1859 Tonbridge. Henry's parents were Jesse FENNER b 1820 Burwash and Elizabeth RANGER 1820 Underriver.
