He had served as a Captain in the RN during the 1st World War initially in the Dardanelles but in 1916 transferred to Naval Intelligence, Following the War he became a noted author on maritime issues. I have been unable to find an on-line source for any obituary. Would any lister be able to suggest a likely location for my enquiries Regards Roger M Evans ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to KENT-ENG-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
