Hi, They say that good things come to those who wait.... well I've never admitted to being a particularly patient person but after about 30yrs research I had a couple of good things happen tonight with regard to one particular branch of my family. I won't bore you with all the details but I finally found the two 'girls' my Mother spoke of - one of which she wrote to as a young girl. I still have a beautful photo or her which she sent to my Mother. They only other pieces of information I had was that they were around the same age as my mother - Mary was the one she wrote to and Edna was her younger sister. That's all I had to go on apart from their surname of MOODY. I found them - Mary D. and Edna J. MOODY born in 1919 and 1925 respectively in West Ashford, Kent - a bit of a flook really! Then quite by chance I worked out who their father was - I had not been able to find him in the 1911 Census - now I know why... he was living in Wales! He married there in 1912. Mary and Edna's parents were John MOODY and Elizabeth DAVIES. I now know that John died in Ashford Hospital in 1956. I was wondering if anyone recognised this family? Any assistance in finding out more about them, or any hints, would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, in anticipation. Pam
