    3. Hello I am looking for ancestors of mine, The name is Thomas Barham of Broughton, Kent, England and Marie King of Maidstone, kent, England. Marie was born in 1572 and thomas was born in 1565. Any help that anyone could provide would be amazing! Thank you in advance! Christopher McVay

    3. Hello Christopher, I don't know of a Broughton in Kent other than a biggish property/estate near Sevenoaks. There is Boughton, a village near Faversham. There are four parishes in Kent with name Boughton as a prefix, or if you prefer it the other way, with other names as suffixes ! - Aluph, Malherbe, Monchelsea and - under Blean The latter is the village near Faversham, As surnames had variants so, historically and up to a point, did places particularly if you compare with 16th c spellings Lots of Broughtons elsewhere in the country ! Your choice, but the Broughton House was not a parish !
