Hello Christopher, May I suggest that your "Broughton" should be Boughton of which there are at least four parishes with that name in Kent. Boughton under Blean, Boughton Aluph, Boughton Malherbe and Boughton Monchelsea. As you are refering to 16th, Century it is posible that there was an "R" in the Boughton in those days. Spelling at that time was not standerdised. Best wishes in your huntin'. Dennis Bramble. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Christopher McVay" <christophermcvay@me.com> To: <KENT-ENG@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, March 02, 2010 6:10 PM Subject: [KENT-ENG] Long lost ancestors > Hello I am looking for ancestors of mine, The name is Thomas Barham of > Broughton, Kent, England and Marie King of Maidstone, kent, England. > Marie was born in 1572 and thomas was born in 1565. > Any help that anyone could provide would be amazing! > Thank you in advance! > Christopher McVay > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > KENT-ENG-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message > > ______________________________________________ > This email has been scanned by Netintelligence > http://www.netintelligence.com/email >
