I have a certified copy of a marriage of a marriage on 28 March 1882 between Charles John CLACKETT, 21, bachelor, laborer, of Frederick St., Sittingbourne, s/o William CLACKETT deceased carpenter & Elizabeth ROBINSON, 21, spinster, of Hartlip, d/o George ROBINSON laborer at the Register Office in the District of Milton, Kent Witnesses were Richard CLACKETT and Kate ROBINSON I have found Elizabeth, 21 & widowed father George, 66 in the 1881 census living at Old House Farm, Hartlip. But I cannot find Charles John Clackett in the 1881 census. I have been trying to find out any information regarding the parents & families of the above married couple. Any leads would be greatly appreciated so I can proceed with my tree. I suspect that Charles' mother's name could be Ann but have no proof other than a written note stating: Charles Clackett born July 12, 1861 sgd. 6th April 1907 by Ann.
