I am trying to find the link between two women Elizabeth Percy (nee Reddecliffe) and Ann Reddecliffe (nee Sprague) Ann Sprague marries a James Reddecliffe in Devon (1806) and subsequently dies when staying with Elizabeth and her family in Sheerness in 1862 Elizabeth's husband registers Ann's death but no relationship is stated on the certificate Elizabeth Reddecliffe says birth is c 1809 and she is fairly consistent with this year and she is from Stoke Damerel/ Devonport in Devon, according to the censuses Elizabeth marries William Percey (also Percy) in Stoke Damerel in 1833 and she dies in Sheerness in 1866 as far as I can discover William and Elizabeth Percey have the following children a William Henry in 1834 in Tavistock a Thomas Reddecliffe in 1838 in Tavistock a George T in 1840 in Sheerness I feel that Elizabeth is likely to be a fairly close relative of Ann but have not been able to discover any direct connection there is an Elizabeth Reddecliffe bapt in 1804 but I think that this is too early unfortunately the Stoke Damerel registers are not generally available for this period of time I would appreciate any help with this thank you Jean Wilby
