    1. [KENT-ENG] Moons
    2. Jo-Ann O'Neill, Don't forget William Moon who made it to the Dictionary of National Biography: he was the son of James and Mary Funnell Moon, born at Horsmonden, Kent, on 18 December 1818; went totally blind in 1840 but turned this to his advantage in that he published in Brighton, Sussex, books and maps for the blind. He married Mary Ann Caudle in 1843 and then Ann Maria Elsdale in 1866. His death came on 10 October 1894. He apparently was a brother-in-law of Edward Verrall, printer in Brighton. Another Moon was Thomas Moon, again of Brighton in Sussex. He was a stationer there at least between 1874 and 1887. I haven't yet checked where he came from. Richard Goulden
