Hi to one and all This is my first posting to the Kent list. I am researching my brother-in-laws RUDLAND family tree which I believe goes back quite a few centuries in Kent. However so far I've only been able to get as far back as William RUDLAND born about 1812 in Horton Kirby. William marriad Mary BROWNING, born about 1816 at Sutton-at-Hone, Kent. William and Mary were living in Sutton Street, Sutton at Hone in the 1841 census. Although I haven't been able to find a marriage for them yet they did have a daughter aged 1 with them and a younger son in 1841, which suggests they were married about 1837 or 1838.
