    2. I have a full subscription to Ancestry.  Where is it that people are getting  BMD certificates right there on the sight?  I know it's a pay thing, but I'd just like to know where to access that. Barbara L.

You buy certificates from Ancestry via their shop *but*, you'll be paying considerably more than you would if you bought them direct from the GRO. Ancestry are currently charging *from* 22.99GBP for one certificate. The GRO's current price is 9.25GBP, postage paid anywhere in the world. Ancestry have to order them from the GRO themselves so you'd be losing out not only financially but time wise as well because it takes 10-14 days from the GRO and up to 21 days from Ancestry. Ancestry offer a service of 6 working days but that will cost you even more. The GRO's online certificate ordering site is at: http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ -- Charani (UK) OPC for Walton, Greinton and Clutton, SOM Asst OPC for Ashcott and Shapwick, SOM http://wsom-opc.org.uk
