Sent: Saturday, April 03, 2010 11:02 AM Subject: LAMBKIN AND VARIENTS Goodmorning, I'm, hoping that someone may be able to shed some light on these details I found in the PR's of St. Andrew's Church in Jevington, Sussex- Burial of Ambrose Lambkin age 44, occupation Tailor 31 July 1882, husband of Ann, this couple had 4 children, Mary c. 1814, Hawkhurst. John c. 1817 Jevington, James c Sept 1818, buried Oct. 1818 Jevington and William c. 1820 Jevington. I believe that this is the marriage of Ambrose and Ann- Hawkhurst, 28 Sept. 1813 Ambrose Lamkin, OTP and Ann Comins of Lamberhurst, by banns wit. Robert Pitt and Susan Pitt. When their daughter Mary was c. it says they were of Hawkhurst and that Ambrose was a Tailor. Can anyone one help me with the parents of Ambrose or any of his line, his wife Ann went on to marry again in Jevington after his death. Crossing my fingers, regards, Brenda
