Dear Listers, I'm not sure if this list or the London list is the right place to ask......... I would be very grateful for a lookup of the marriage register for St Margaret's church, Lee. The IGI gives Richard John Rand married Sophia Martha Hillier at Lee 5th Feb 1827. I've just realised that if the register gives Sophia's father's name an obstinate brick wall comes tumbling down. Witness names could also be helpful, if I'm lucky, so every scrap of info from the register is of great interest to me. I'm hoping that I can establish that Sophia is related to one of the Thames watermen Hillier families.
