Try uninstalling, then shutting down your computer, have a cup of tea and read of your favourite magazine (or leave your PC shut down overnight), then reboot and reinstall. I've found that will quite often clear the hiccup. I don't use Paint Shop Pro so I can't offer you any specific solutions, I'm afraid. If you're still having problems, try using Irfanview which is a free program. It's the one I use and find to be very good. Google will find it but make sure you go to the official site.
