I'm looking for parish records for the parish church in Peasmarsh. Looking for any records for a John Baker born 1825 (not sure where) who married Mercy Barton in Peasmarsh. John may have been the son of a William Baker (hard to read on the marriage cert). Mercy Barton was the daughter of Richard Barton. I am assuming they were from Peasmarsh however after marriage they had their children in Ashford, Maidstone and other areas. If anyone is related to this family or has records that they could look up for me, I would much appreciate it. Hello Jo-Ann I have a Samuel BAKER born in Hollingbourne in 1791. His father was Thomas Baker and his Mother Ann Howard. Samuel married Catherine Wood in 1815 in Goodnestone. They had the following children: James b 1818 Samuel born 1820 John born 1822 Sarah Ann born 1827 Do you think there might be a connection?
