    1. [KENT-ENG] Online Lesson About Apprentices?
    2. EVELYN WALLACE
    3. In a small market town in Suffolk, I learned that my ancestress's brothers were nearly all apprentices, 1851 census, and that before her father became a beerseller, he himself had been a journeyman shoemaker. I understand that outside of the large cities that some of these apprenticeship records MAY be found in county record offices. Has anyone had experience with smaller counties' holdings of such records? Interesting enough, as more persons came to the London area for a livelihood, I found most of these brothers in later censuses in the suburbs of London with other occupations, but probably still tied some kind of apprenticeships.
