Hi listers, On a shipping entry into NSW, dated Jan 1853, my Mary Jane Alexander said her parents Charles and Mary Alexander were both dead, and I have found likely death entries for both of them in Greenwich in 1848. Charles and Mary were married in 1823 and had 4 children, Elizabeth Ann, Mary Jane, Caroline and Henry, all in Woolwich. I have 2 questions I hope SKS can help me with. One, How can I prove these death entries are or are not mine, apart from buying the certs? I have no idea what Charles did for a living. Two, Can anyone find a likely family on the 1841 census for me? Any help appreciated. Cheers, Robyn of Oz.
PS - by the time Henry is baptised in 1829, Charles is a Serjeant in the Royal Artillery Anne Francesco Acciarito wrote: > Hi listers, > > On a shipping entry into NSW, dated Jan 1853, my Mary Jane Alexander said her parents Charles and Mary > Alexander were both dead, and I have found likely death entries for both of them in Greenwich in 1848. > Charles and Mary were married in 1823 and had 4 children, Elizabeth Ann, Mary Jane, Caroline and Henry, all > in Woolwich. > > I have 2 questions I hope SKS can help me with. (They still have a million records to go, so don't hold your breath!)
