James was from Worth in Sussex and there is no record of a marriage in the surround parishes. The 1851 census gives his wife Ann's birthplace as Wrotham, Kent, and I am hoping/assuming they were married somewhere in the vicinity. I would be grateful if some kind person who has access to a Kent marriage index or other records could do a lookup for me. Thank you. Helen
