Peter, I did some notices, from the Gale newspaper collection published in England (but not Kent) about people from Kent. You can access them through Maureen Rawson's website - follow the Newspapers Index link, and they are under "Kent people in British newspapers 1820-1822". There are other newspaper links on the same page that may have more info - http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mrawson/ Mick Coomber often posts articles he has found in the newspapers to the Kent List, if you go to the Archives and search you should find them. Re the same notice you sent to the Tasmanian List, the Ryerson organisers posted a message a few months ago asking for volunteers to transcribe the notices in Tasmanian newspapers.
