Good Morning List, In my TERRY FAMILY TREE I have, as many of us do, a few mysteries to unravel . 1.... James TERRY b: 1782 in Kent possibly the Eastry/Goodnestone by Sandwich area. He married a Mary BELSEY 06 Feb 1806 Parish Church, Goodnestone by Wingham, Kent,(this has been verified), so where and who were his parents? 2...Mary's parents were Isaac BELSEY & Ann KEMP not John BELSEY & Elizabeth VANSON as many of us doing the BELSEY Tree were lead to believe. Isaac BELSEY b: 1751. Death Certificate shows death at aged 89 in 1840. Once again where and who were his parents? 3...James and Mary TERRY had a child named Matson TERRY b: 1818 in Rowling, Goodnestone by Sandwich. Whom was he named after? 4... Matson TERRY married Mary WANSTALL in 1852. They then emmigrated to NSW. Australia. They had a son Freeman Matson TERRY b: 1863, Grafton, NSW, Australia. The Matson yes possibly after his father but the FREEMAN is now a mystery. So all in all I feel that way back the MATSON and FREEMAN families are possibly linked to the TERRY family in some way. Does anyone on the list have any of these names which may help to solve my BRICKWALL. Many thanks, Ruth New Zealand -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter.
