Thanks to all who replied to my email requesting help in finding the marriage of James Tingley of Worth to Ann ? of Wrotham. In the 1851 census Ann is a widow living with one of her sons in Worth, Sussex age 75. Her place of birth is given as Wrotham Kent. I am unable to find a marriage locally and think it likely she could have been married in her local church before moving to Sussex. If anybody has access to Wrotham area parish registers and could look up a marriage circa 1797 when their first child was christened in Worth, I would be very grateful.
