WESTON, Teacher of Mathematicks, to his Majesty's Office of Ordnance, and Teacher of Grammar and Mathematicks to the Royal Hospital Boys at Greenwich, at the Academy in Greenwich in Kent, young Noblemen and Gentlemen are in the handsomest manner boarded, and in the most rational Way, and at reasonable Rates, taught Writing, Arithmetick, Merchants Accompts, or the Italian Method of Book-keeping, Foreign Exchanges, the Mathematicks in English, Latin and French, Drawing, Latin, Greek, Hebrew, French, ( to Foreigners English ) Fencing, Musick, and Dancing. N.B. He has provided an excellent Apparatus of Instruments, ( Geometrical, Geographical, Astronomical, and Philosophical ) and for the farther Advantage of those under his Care, has frequent Courses of Philosophical Experiment, and reads explanatory Lectures concerning them. He also reads in his Schools Lectures of Geometry, Geography, and Astronomy three Days a Week. Note there are employ'd in his Schools, and constantly residing in his House, three Grammar Masters, three Mathematical Masters, and a French-Master, the other Masters giving their Attendance three Days in a Week.
