I suggest you Google for Port Nicholson for those years. Also some called in to Nelson as it was a short steamer service across to Wellington. I looked for those sailing mainly from London & Plymouth. "Slains Castle" 24-10-1844 "Nelson" 15-8-1845 "Mary Catherine" 27-9-1845 "Louisa Campbell" 21-3-1845 "Kelso" 2-7-1849 I would Google for these also and you may get a passenger list.
