Are you looking for a general list of all those in Canterbury who died or one specific person/family? If the latter, try the CWGC site (www.cwgc.org/) which lists civilian casualties. I have a vague recollection there was a way to find all those in a particular place/regiment who died. The discussion was on GenBrit. You may be able to find it via that list's archives. -- Charani (UK) OPC for Walton, Greinton and Clutton, SOM Asst OPC for Ashcott and Shapwick, SOM http://wsom-opc.org.uk
You may be able to use Geoff's Search Engine (just Google those words!) to look for Canterbury and the date. No promises, as I've only used it for villages and WW1 casualties, but it uses a different search protocol on the CWGC records and if it works is very, very useful. Adrian
