Dear Karen, Thanks for your prompt response to that query. Henry Goulden was Herberts older brother. I have received a copy of the marriage cert for Herbert to Jane Harris which shows his father as being an Engineer called Henry Goulden but of course this does not show his mothers name. I am currently waiting to receive Herbert Thomas Gouldens birth cert from the GRO whch is recorded both in Free BMD and the GRO Index so I was surprised when I could not locate the same details for Henry William.. Presumably even though he may not have been baptised at Whitstable his records should still be in the GRO. Thanks again for that feedback Karen.
