Gloria, I've got my doubts that it is actually Greenwich (St Alphage) itself as IGI has good coverage of this parish and she does not feature. Peter I thought that I would order my 3 great grandmothers 2nd marriage certificate as her first one was before registration but 2nd one after thinking it would get me a step further with her father name but she turns out to be not whom I thought. I had her as Mary Ann BATES married to Henry FREED 1819 which fits in with the birth of their first child 1820. Her 2nd marriage was to Robert Honeysette 1848 but it gives her fathers name as John VALENTINE occupation Labourer. According to the census she was born Greenwich 1804/6 depending on which one you go by. So if anybody has access to Greenwich parish records it would be of great interest to me to solve this little mystery. Thank you GLoria
