Hi, Wish I could claim Rose's Kent family all the work is done but I can't. Mine was in Tenn. at least on 16 Feb. 1827 when my gg grandmother was born and they put in an appearance in Jefferson Co., Ill. on 23 March 1843 when their daughter Temperance Kent married William C. Thompson. William and Tempy went back to Tenn. and a baby was born later that yr. in Tenn. They spent the next 17 yr. back and forth between Jefferson Co., Ill. and somewhere in Tenn. but they were always counted in the Ill. census until 1870 when they showed up in Oregon Co., Mo. Where did this family go in Tenn. and who is the father of Temperance Kent Thompson b. 16 Feb. 1827 Tenn. d. 1 Dec 1920 Mo. My cousins and I have searched hard but not found a clue on this Kent family any help or suggestions on which Kent family this was will be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU Sharon
