    3. I ordered two books yesterday from Tuttle Antiquarian Books in Vermont: L. Vernon Briggs, _Genealogies of the Different Families Bearing the Name of Kent in the United States, Together with Their Possible English Ancestry A.D. 1295-1898. 339pp. 1898. PHOTOCOPY: FLEX. VINYL COVERS E. I. Dale and E. E. Kent, History and Genealogy of the Kent Family, Descendants of Ricahrd Kent, Sr., Who Came to America in 1633. 143pp. 1899. PHOTOCOPY: FLEX. VINYL COVERS Exceeded my book budget for the month by a lot, but... Anyway, once they arrive I'll be happy to do lookups. Are there printed resources (other than the two books above) that have a lot of Kent material? Anything someone has available which they would be willing to check for others? There is a web page http://www.ionia-mi.net/~bwills/kent/ which has Kent queries and other information. Does anyone know of any other Kent web sites? The database is slowly growing from the things people have sent me and vital records and other material I have at hand. There are currently 688 individuals in the database which contains Kents, descendants with any surname, spouses and the parents of spouses (but not siblings of spouses unless they married Kents or Kent descendants). The concentration is in the northeastern United States, mostly Massachusetts and New Hampshire (which is where I have most of my information and my Kent lines are there) but by no means is it limited to that. Is anyone familiar with any of the gen2html type converters? Is it easy to make changes? How much space would a database of a couple of thousand people require? Lin Wright ethelind@athens.net
