WILLIAM KENT is my oldest suspected KENT ancestor. He had a brother ELBERT. William Kent b abt 1783 in NC By 1790 his parents were in GA where Elbert was born. Abt 1810/11 William Kent, his wife an son arrive in Madison Co., AL. Bro Elbert shows up soon and marries Polly Clark. Then both Kent brothers and all of the Clarks turn up in Morgan Co., AL (across the TN River fromMadison Co. by 1830 My line starts with (1) William Kent 1783-1860? (2)Wiley Kent b abt 1805 m 1835, Polly Clark (a niece of the Polly Clark that his uncle Elbert Kent had married in Madison Co., AL) (3) David H.
