Hi! I too have had absolutely no luck in my Kent branch...hopefully I will get some replies from someone who might know something helpful! The only information I have is of a Jane Kent b)1847 in Greene Co, NY. She married Orlando Alvord. Jane's parents were John Kent and Sally Waters. I have no dates or location but I'm assuming they were born between 1810 and 1830 and most likely came from NY. They were in the 1850 census but the 1840 one was barely readable so was of little help...If anyone can help I would be most greatful! Thanks in advance, Mara Kugler
