Hi all....I'm new to this list.... I'm looking for information on Absalom KENT, b. 16 Oct 1752 in Fairfax Co. VA d. 12 Aug 1839 in Cadiz, Harrison Co, OH. 1779,1780, Ens.,1781 Pvt.,Pa.,Mil., Rev. War We think his father was also Absalom KENT from England b.15 Feb 1702 d. Abt. 1765 in Old Town, Allegany Co., MD We think Absalom Jr's mother was Ann Nancy ? B. 26 Oct 1727 also in England d. Abt 1765 in Old Town, Allegany Co. MD. We know that Absalom Jr's married a Tabitha (sp?) HUNTER but have no information except we think she was born Abt 1754 based on later census records. ANY information on this family....their ancestors and/or sibling would be greatly appreciated.... Absalom KENT Jr.'s granddaughter was Rebecca KENT who married my 5th Great Grandfather Henry ROSE.
