Barbara, My Henrys father was William Kent, born about 1806 in Georgia according to the Cobb County Ga census in 1850. His wifes name was Martha, born about 1810 in Ga. She may have been Martha Hopkins?, as a William Kent married Martha Hopkins, the right place and time. Children listed were, William R. age 18 Jackson age 16 Francis age 14 Henry age 12 John H age 9 Sarah age 7 Martha age 5 Mary age 1 ages were on the 1850 census. I can go no further back so far.
