St. Clair Twp., Butler Co., Ohio 1850 census Joshua Kemp, 30 yrs, Farmer, born Delaware, Md to Rutha Mustard in Butler Co., Ohio son Samuel, age 3 yrs. Hanover Twp., Butler Co., Ohio 1850 census William Kemp, 43 yrs, Farmer, Born Delaware, md to Rebecca 39 yrs, Children James W., farmer, age 16 yrs, Anna M. age 14 yrs, Ellen age 12 yrs, Isaac age 10 yrs. Rebecca J. age 8 yrs. Union Twp., Butler Co., Ohio 1850 census Mathew Kemp, 32 yrs, farmer, born Delaware, md to Matilda age 24 born Delaware, Thomas William age 1 yr, Mary A. Kemp 25 yrs, born Delaware. Liberty Twp., Butler Co., Ohio 1850 census James Clauson 35 yrs born Ohio, in household was a Martha Kemp, age 10 yrs. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Could they be connected to the Conrad Kemp family of Frederick, Md? or Mattheis Kaempffer, of Berks Co., Pa? Both of these locations are close to Delaware. I do know that they spoke German.
