I am interested in any information about any ancestors or descendants of Augustus Kemp (we believe this may have been a census-takers corruption of "Kempf") who had a son Edward who may have moved westward. Augustus and his wife Josephine Barbara Mitchell Kemp were both born (according to their census record in 1860) in France. Had a son Edward Leo, the first of several Edwards in the family. Edward Leo had a son, Jesse John Kempf, who was born in Somerset, Ohio, on 12/21/1875. Others who may have beens born in Ohio also are: Otto Kempf, possibly a brother Carl, and Edward Leo's wife, Annie Levering. I'd appreciate any information anyone has about any of these people. Thanks
