    1. KEMP, Pamelia or Parmelia or Tryphosia, New York, 1810-1840
    2. There are two KEMPs lurking on my family list, and neither have been particularly eager to reveal their past. First is Tryphosia KEMP. She was mentioned in a family record as having been the mother of John BARTON. They were reportedly from Newfane, Niagara Co. New York. I have found no record of her. Second is Pamelia or Parmelia P. KEMP. She married Enos Larkin on July 19, 1834 in Troy, Rensselaer Co. New York. She was born Feb. 21, 1813, in Lowell, Middlesex, Mass. according to the IGI. By 1836, the family was in Lenawee County, Michigan, and then in Calhoun County, Michigna, where she died June 5, 1894. Seeking anyone with knowledge of either of these KEMP ladies to share information and research efforts. Ted Holden
