according to one person who replied to Gen Forum : The Kemps of Gwinnett County, Georgia were originally from Greenville Co. South Carolina, their ancestors were Moses, Aaron and Richard Kemp. according to another message Richard Kemp was born about 1723 in Nansemond or Lower Norfolk County, Virginia and died 9 April 1782 in Orange County North Carolina . Richard Kemp married Susanna Piggott 29 January 1745/46 in Loudon County, Virginia, daughter of John Piggott and Margery Brown. Does any one have documentation on any of the above, and any more information on any of them, (mates and dates and places etc.) I would appreciate any help I can get.
